Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is looking for a skilled Plumbing Lead to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. With a strong focus on data centre projects, this is an exciting opportunity for a qualified plumber to take on a permanent role within a dynamic and highly-regarded company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate plumbing teams on-site
2. Complete first fix plumbing works and obtain all necessary test certifications
3. Create a second fix task list and provide an estimated completion date
4. Monitor and address any site issues that may impact project completion
5. Communicate project updates and variations to the Contracts Manager
6. Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders as needed
7. Monitor project progress and ensure high-quality standards are maintained
8. Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures
9. Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation
10. Supervise and train apprentices in installation, maintenance, and repair tasks
11. Interpret blueprints or prepare sketches to determine equipment placement and ensure compliance with building and safety codes
Job Requirements:
12. Fully qualified plumber (National Craft Certificate or equivalent)
13. Experience in a supervisory role within the plumbing sector
14. Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
15. RGI certification (preferred)
16. Strong understanding of domestic and commercial plumbing systems
17. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
18. Full clean driving licence
