As they develop Class I to Class III medical devices, you will work across disciplines to support bringing ideas from concept to market under high standards of quality, regulatory compliance and patient safety.You will be responsible for integrating human-centered design principles into the product development lifecycle, reducing user-related errors and supporting the development of safe medical devices through careful design validation and documentation.ResponsibilitiesIntegrate human-centered design principles into the product development lifecycle.Reduce user-related errors and support the development of safe medical devices through design validation and documentation.Collaborate across disciplines to bring ideas from concept to market under regulatory and quality standards.Qualifications5 - 7 years of usability engineering experience, ideally in medical devices or pharma (syringe experience preferred).Experience in gathering HF data and feeding it into design inputs.Risk documentation experience (DFMEA, UFMEA, design inputs table, DHF documentation).Experience applying IEC 62366 standard for medical device development.Experience setting up, conducting, and concluding usability trials with data analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Proficiency in experimental design and user research methodologies.Ability to analyze human behavior and performance.Familiarity with user-centered design principles.LocationLimerick, Ireland | hybridSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Manufacturing, and ScienceIndustriesMedical Equipment Manufacturing
