This role is ideal for an experienced Ecologist seeking to work on a large scale infrastructure project in Glanmire.
As an Ecologist, you will be responsible for coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and statutory consent applications. This will involve leading, coordinating and contributing to EIA projects for major infrastructure projects, including all stages of EIA.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with a busy team on an interesting and challenging project. The successful candidate will also have the option of being a full-time employee or sub-contractor for this role.
Requirements
* A Level 8 Degree in an Environmental related discipline
* Chartered or working towards Chartership with Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
* Minimum 3+ years experience in an ecology role
* Experience in one or more technical area of relevance to EIA, e.g., aquatic ecology, terrestrial ecology, ornithology
* Strong report writing skills
