Overview:
We're seeking a proactive
Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
to optimize workforce productivity and minimize downtime by planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities 2 weeks to 1 month in advance. This role is key to ensuring high equipment availability and efficient maintenance execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary liaison between Maintenance and Operations.
* Review and validate work requests, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and proper prioritization.
* Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, securing necessary materials, tools, and vendor services.
* Develop and publish weekly maintenance schedules aligned with production plans.
* Maintain a "ready backlog" of work for flexible execution.
* Support CMMS data accuracy and continuous improvement of job plans.
* Ensure safety compliance and effective communication with all stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning and scheduling performance.
Requirements:
Minimum:
* NFQ Level 8 degree in a STEM discipline (2.1 or higher).
* Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
* Knowledge of preventive/corrective maintenance practices.
* Excellent communication and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
Preferred:
* Experience with data analytics tools (Cognos, Spotfire, Tableau).
* Calibration and GMP/GDP knowledge.
