Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client with their head office based in Waterford are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team.
Your New Job:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible to lead recruitment across all functions, clinical, administrative, and management.
Requiring strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to effectively match candidates with job opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical roles (including Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Orthoptists and Nurses), as well as administrative and management positions.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver effective sourcing and selection strategies.
Manage job advertising, direct sourcing, and recruitment campaigns across multiple platforms.
Conduct talent mapping and market research to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
Deliver a positive candidate experience and act as a professional ambassador for the organisation.
Support international recruitment, including Critical Skills Visas, professional registrations (IMC, NMBI, CORU), and relocation.
Ensure recruitment activity is compliant with relevant regulations and GDPR.
Track recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a healthcare-related discipline (desirable).
5+ years' experience in healthcare recruitment or talent acquisition.
Strong knowledge of healthcare roles and regulatory requirements; ophthalmology experience is an advantage.
Proven experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and social media sourcing.
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Smartsheets is an advantage.
