Job Title: Site Manager – Residential Projects Location: Cavan Town€70,000 - €75,000 Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects in Cavan Town.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.Ensure that all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., Health & Safety Authority (HSA) standards).
Supervise subcontractors, direct labour, and trades to ensure work is progressing according to programme and specifications.Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications.Ensure quality control measures are enforced throughout the construction process.Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.Assist in procurement of materials and coordination of deliveries to site.Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, permits, and safety reports.Manage site logistics, including plant and equipment usage, waste management, and security.Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.Requirements:3+ years of experience in a Site Management role, preferably in residential construction in Ireland.Relevant construction qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field).
