Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity
This is a high-profile leadership role for an Electrical Engineer with experience in overseeing and managing teams of electrical engineers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modular construction, electrical systems, and engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of electrical design fitouts of modular units
* Management of electrical and mechanical systems integration within modular structures
* Ensuring designs are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
* Leadership and guidance of a high-performing team of electrical engineers and technicians
* Project management skills for multiple projects simultaneously
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules
* In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, local codes, and industry standards related to electrical and mechanical installations
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Electrical engineering roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within modular construction or similar industries.
Tech Skills
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and modular construction practices
* Experience with electrical design, installation, and commissioning
Leadership Skills
* Proven experience in managing teams, including leading, motivating, and developing engineers and technicians
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Regulatory Knowledge
* In-depth understanding of safety regulations, local codes, and industry standards related to electrical and mechanical installations
Desired Skills
* Modular Construction Experience: Familiarity with modular construction techniques and specific challenges associated with electrical and mechanical fitouts in modular units
* BIM Knowledge: Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools and software for coordination and design of electrical and mechanical systems
* Quality Management: Experience in implementing quality control and assurance processes for electrical and mechanical installations
* Health & Safety Certification: Certification in health and safety management would be an advantage
* Project Management Certification: PMP or similar project management certification is desirable
