Snr Document Controller Cork
Job Title: Snr Document Controller. Reports To: Document Control Team Manager. Department: Cork Operations. Location: ADPS Group, Little Island, Cork. Tenure: Permanent / Contract.
Purpose & Scope of Role: Reporting to the Document Control Team Manager, the Snr Document Controller will be responsible for the correct and accurate storage, retrieval, and communication of all technical records and documentation within the ADPS Cork registry.
Core Responsibilities
* Support all document flow needs for engineering design disciplines, Project Management, and Validation Departments.
* Issue of associated Project Deliverables to Project Team & Client using Document Control System.
* Management of associated Project Deliverables in Electronic/Hard copy format.
* Expediting Vendor Documentation as required.
* Coordinating associated project packages in accordance with client procedures.
* Assist in supporting external audits, coordinating associated activities, and ensuring timely response to documentation requests for auditors.
* Responsible for coordinating document change orders, facilitating reviews, approvals, and retention of Risk Management documents.
* Liaising with clients, vendors, and contractors to deliver completed project handover documentation to client specifications.
* Part of a Local Site Based Construction Management Team. Other reasonable work as requested by the Document Control Team Manager may be required.
Academic Qualifications: Third Level: Essential. A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline. Training: Highly Desirable. Formal training in Document Management Systems. Auditing: Highly Desirable. Formal training in auditing practice.
Experience & Skills Required
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, working in a multi-disciplinary design office or equivalent.
* Demonstrable experience of internal and external audit practices.
* Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, multitasking, communication, and strong presentation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
* Computer literate (ability to manage internal systems as well as external).
* Demonstrable experience of resilience and tenacity in a pressurised environment.
