Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an MEP Coordinator to work on major projects with Main Contractors.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification and 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
They should possess excellent IT skills, a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite, and the ability to navigate BIM Models.
A high level of communication skills both written and verbal is essential for this position.
The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate all phases of the MEP Services
2. Fully engage in Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing, Commissioning & Verification
3. Manage utility connections
4. Co-ordinate Design Team information & Technical Submittals in line with the Project Schedule
5. Track and Manage the flow of information between the Design Team and Specialist Subcontractors
6. E nsure implementation of the MEP deliverables
7. Monitor all Installations ensuring all stage checks are completed in accordance with Specifications/Approved Submittals
8. Chair Co-Ordination Meetings of all MEP Contractors on the Project
9. Co-ordinate, Liaison with, and management of client provided trades and suppliers
10. Track change and/or discrepancies between project drawings and technical specifications.
11. Provide the Project Teams with updates on MEP installation and progress with Weekly Report-Outs
12. E nsure that the MEP works on site in line with BCAR requirements and all Health and Safety Standards
13. Lead the commissioning process
14. Demonstration of MEP Systems to Client / Client Representatives in accordance with Design Parameters.
15. Assist in the production and upload of BCAR documentation
16. Coordination and timely submittal of the Safety File Data for the Client on Project Completion.
