As a member of the sales team, the sales professional is responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining and deepening customer relationships within a defined geographic territory specific to LTL business.
Essential Functions:
1. Develop new business by identifying potential customers, growing revenue, conducting background research, analyzing customer needs, and developing LTL solutions.
2. Maintain existing business by understanding the customer's business and supply chain through research, interaction, and collaboration with sales and support teams.
3. Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and support to provide a seamless customer experience and a holistic view of customer needs.
4. Manage and execute key success factors to meet quarterly goals.
5. Leverage technology tools like internal systems, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office suite.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or two years of B2B sales experience.
* Two years of LTL sales experience or FedEx B2B sales experience.
* Ability to travel overnight.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Experience in transportation or LTL preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.
* Initiative, organizational skills, discipline, and adaptability.
* Mid-level negotiation skills for market-based pricing.
* Ability to collaborate with local operations.
Preferred Qualifications: B2B Sales Experience, LTL/Freight Experience.
Pay Transparency: The salary range is an estimate for all locations and levels, with actual pay determined by experience, market, location, and other factors. Additional compensation may include bonuses or premiums. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $51,975 - $98,250.
Additional Details: This is a face-to-face sales role with a hybrid work schedule. The preferred location is Grand Junction, CO, but other locations within a 50-mile radius may be considered.
