Responsibilities
* Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems and perform repairs.
* Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
* Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs; use available systems to manage and track completion.
* Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
* Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations; report violations to management.
* Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems while having limited discretion.
* Perform duties as defined in detailed procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Profile / Qualifications
* High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of job‑related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
* Meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
* Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
* Good communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
