GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to internal promotion within our Carlow depot, we currently have a new opportunity for a Mechanic to join our team.
In this role you will be:
* Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles.
* Working closely with the service supervisor and all departments to maintain an efficient process.
* Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately.
* Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
* Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
What will help you to excel in this role:
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
* The ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Good communication skills
