Job Overview
The Strategic Remediation Quality Control Testing Team requires a seasoned professional to lead its quality control testing program in accordance with established procedures.
* This role involves overseeing and implementing quality control testing methodologies and building out the local quality control testing team.
* The successful candidate will provide effective review and challenge of significant remediation deliverables to ensure the quality of design, implementation, and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that quality control testing scope is appropriate and covers key deliverables as defined by department standards and procedures.
2. Providing clear and direct feedback to team members on their quality control testing work products to ensure sufficient documentation is prepared to support closure rationale/conclusions for internal auditors and regulators.
3. Maintaining familiarity and technical expertise with assigned business units, including organizational structure, personnel, activities, and products.
4. Demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills to influence senior stakeholders.
5. Interacting and partnering with senior management to provide feedback and challenge on the quality of remediation activities.
6. Issuing quality control testing reports for responsible areas to ensure clear, concise, and timely communication of risks and issues to senior and executive management.
7. Publishing and presenting reporting to provide transparency to senior management on the success of quality control testing outcomes.
8. Participating in meetings with business units to discuss quality control results.
9. Communicating with partners at all levels, developing and presenting recommendations on operations and controls for the business unit.
10. Assessing and determining staffing needs to propose to senior management, making employment recommendations, handling salary administration, and ensuring resources are available to accomplish priorities.
11. Participating in recruiting processes.
