Job Title
A Supply Planner position is available for an 11-month fixed-term contract at our Newbridge site. This onsite role will initially last six months, with the option to work remotely in a hybrid model.
About the Role
This Supply Planner will oversee and optimize inventory control and management activities. Their responsibilities include creating monthly demand plans, optimizing production strategies, and integrating new businesses and products. They will ensure IC/IM processes run smoothly, develop relevant metrics, and maintain data integrity and material/inventory performance.
* Evaluate site policies and adhere to cGMP/GLP regulations, as well as environmental, health, and safety standards.
* Maintain compliance and audit readiness according to current regulations, PQS, and business requirements, including documentation management.
* Prioritize workplace safety and housekeeping.
* Operate under Right First Time principles.
* Resolve issues or escalate them appropriately.
* Demonstrate company values and Pfizer competencies.
* Meet department metrics.
* Provide subject matter expertise for systems, technologies, and products.
* Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in decision-making processes with stakeholders.
* Support the introduction of new products.
* Report to the department manager.
Responsibilities
* Customer Service Management:
o Sustain customer order promising and communicate changes professionally.
o Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure timely product availability while minimizing supply chain inventories.
o Manage ISS and SO markets, and handle escalations on supply issues.
* Data Management:
o Assist with data loading, master data changes, and supplier data management.
* CI Support (FG/RM):
o Recognize waste, reduce it, and list CI projects.
o Support CI initiatives and track progress.
* S&OP Support:
o Support all S&OP and demand planning activities, facilitate forecast aggregation, and develop performance metrics.
* Inventory Control:
o Analyze forecast demand vs. actual demand, notify relevant teams of significant changes, and support related processes.
* PPGs & cGMP:
o Develop and maintain PPGs, ensure adherence to plant PPGs.
* Project Management:
o Manage projects related to continuous improvements, NPI, transfers, divestments, and obsolescence.
Requirements
* Education: A third-level qualification in Purchasing, Materials Management, Business, or Science is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
* Experience: Minimum two years in Manufacturing Planning, Supply Chain, or Logistics are required. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, a clear communicator, solution-focused, and able to handle multiple tasks and coordinate projects effectively.
