My client is a large construction organisation with a presence across Ireland, the UK & Europe.They are currently hiring for an experienced Procurement Manager with at least 7yrs experience in the Construction Sector. Ideally you will come from a Quantity Surveying background having worked with a Main Contractor, procuring various sub contract packages across all trades.Core duties will include;Procurement of sub contract packages on a project by project basis in conjunction with pre construction teamMeasurement checks of said packagesDevelop and maintain strategic partnerships with business unit leaders, sub contractors and suppliers.Create and implement procurement strategies that deliver measurable business valueManage complex project procurement across all sectorsDevelop and oversee asset maintenance procurement strategiesEvaluation of sub contract performance versus priceBased in Co.Kildare you will be a key part of the commercial team involved in national and international projects across industrial & DC projects.
