Job Role:
This Quantity Surveyor role involves overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all costs are accurately estimated, and that contracts are managed effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in tendering, cash flow forecasting, and cost planning. They will also need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
* Pre-contract responsibilities include reviewing tenders, estimating costs, and advising on contract strategy.
* Post-contract responsibilities involve managing contracts, monitoring costs, and resolving any disputes that may arise.
* Other key responsibilities include procurement and supply chain management, team leadership, and payment applications.
Key Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Civils background in the utilities industry
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc.) + Microsoft office suite literacy
* FIDIC Yellow Book Contract Administration experience
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Benefits:
* Salary €60,000 - €70,000 (depending on experience)
