They are looking to add an engineer to their team with a view to becoming a Project Manager.
The role will involve working closely with the Project Manager in all aspects of running a job.
What you'll do
About Your New Job
As a Junior Project Manager, you will work closely with supervisors, site managers, project managers and tradespeople to ensure the timely and successful completion of all mechanical works.
You will report into the Project Manager on this job.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily works from an engineering point of view, ensuring quality control, and managing the day-to-day operations on-site.
Some of your duties will include:
Develop a daily action plan that includes HSEQ, assist project team in expediting major equipment deliveries, maintain a site diary, attend/Chair internal meetings with sub-contractors, ensure that all variations are picked up in conjunction with PM and QS, ensure labour allocation sheets are being completed by sub-contractors.
What Skills & Requirements You Need
Candidates will hold a construction or mechanical engineering related degree or come from a trade background.
You will have experience working in a building services role for an M&E contractor, Main Contractor or an M&E Consultancy.
A good knowledge of building services is required for this role with a particular emphasis on plumbing and HVAC.
