Position Summary
We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled full‑time Financial Operations Analyst I to join our accounting team in Ireland. As a Financial Operations Analyst I, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting information by verifying, recording, consolidating, and inputting transactions. Preparing and recording assets and revenue is a daily requirement.
Responsibilities
* Process daily reimbursement expenses and other fee transactions.
* Reconcile daily activities and account balances in SAP on a daily recurring basis.
* Record accounting information in a professional and detailed fashion. Thousands of entries require the individual to stay focused for extended periods.
* Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliation of multiple balance sheet accounts.
* Analyze transaction data to determine whether adjustments, revisions, or updates are needed.
* Work with and support internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, answer inquiries, and provide solutions.
* Examine and analyze financial statements and accounting records to ensure they are accurate and comply with regulations.
* Provide data for internal and external reporting purposes.
* Ad‑hoc assignments as requested.
* Comply with legal and company policies.
* Complete all required initial and ongoing training within a reasonable or provided timeframe.
Ideal Candidate (Experience & Knowledge)
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
* Industry experience a plus.
* Strong working knowledge of Excel.
* Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards.
