The appointed candidate will be a key member of the team.The Role:In our high paced Finance and Operations departments, we work closely with suppliers, sub-contractors, and our customers to deliver high-quality products and service in a consistent manner. As we look to further growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to assist our Finance, Sales, Operational and technology teams in delivering their targets.The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and work with the Swyft Energy team on all matters of finance, seeking out cost savings and margin enhancement.Responsibilities include: -Review and process invoices for accuracy, validity, and complianceCode and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring correct general ledger allocation and approvalsMatch purchase orders and delivery notes with invoicesReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies or payment disputesCreate monthly payment run files for approval and processingCalculate and create RCT fileCreate monthly accruals to feed into monthly accountsAssist with month-end closing, reporting, and audit preparationAssist with process improvements and system upgrades as neededCollaborate and work closely with internal teams (operations, sales) and maintain professional relationships with suppliersAssist with AR where necessary including approval of sales invoices, reconciling payments, bank reconciliations etc.This is an excellent opportunity for the person looking to get to know the ins and outs of a business in a hands-on role covering many aspects of finance and business.Qualifications and Skills: -Minimum 2:1 degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related discipline3-5 years' experience in a finance roleExperience with financial software packagesMotivated self-starter with the determination and drive to succeedExcellent time management and organizational skills.Strong communication skillsAccuracy and eye for detailPrioritise work based on business and statutory needs.Ability to identify and drive new processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €1.00-€2.00 per yearWork Location: In person
