Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in the Eastern Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on-site connection services, working closely with third parties and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site visits for non-standard new connection applications and perform site assessments
* Create work orders for non-standard new connections within a given region
* Work closely with Local Authorities and relevant parties to deliver connection services for customers
* Support the delivery of connection-related network reinforcement schemes driven by connection demand
* Provide an excellent customer experience through the end-to-end connection process
* Monitor incoming site inspection requests in relation to non-standard New Connection applications
* Document results of inspections and approve/close work order as applicable
Requirements:
* Relevant third level qualification in civil engineering
* Understanding of planning applications and connection regulations
* Familiarity with GIS systems, asset data management, and field inspection protocols
* Ability to conduct site assessments, prepare Work Orders, and ensure compliance with New Connection Standards
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in water, utilities or similar industries is desirable
* A strong blend of technical expertise, regulatory awareness, and interpersonal skills
