Overview:
Our client, a global Alternative Asset Manager, are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager to join their fund oversight team as they go through a period of continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the fund accounting and NAV oversight function.
* Manage the relationship with associated third parties, including the appointment fund administrator.
* Handle limited partnership equity evaluations and performance fee calculations.
* Fund reporting, financial statements, performance returns, and audit coordination.
* Management associated projects and operational enhancements.
* Manage and coordinate the annual audit process
Key Requirements
* 8 years+ experience within Fund/Investment Control, Fund Accounting or Middle Office, specifically for alternative funds.
* Proven success managing a team of fund accountants is essential.
* Professional qualification is desirable (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Experience working within Fund Administration or Investment Management is essential.
* Exposure to Private Markets funds is highly desirable.
* Experience and understanding of the oversight function including previous experience managing outsource service providers and fund administrators.
