Job Opportunity: Experienced Chef in a Healthcare Setting
We are seeking an accomplished chef to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves preparing and presenting nutritious meals that meet dietary and nutritional guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare or high-volume catering environment, with strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill processes. They should also possess excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present meals in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines.
* Lead daily kitchen operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and consistency.
* Follow all relevant protocols and procedures.
* Oversee stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation.
* Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergen management.
Requirements:
* QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional chef qualification.
* Experience in a healthcare or high-volume catering environment.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill processes.
* Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
* Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
