ASSISTANT ESTIMATOR - DUBLIN AEROSPACE, DUBLIN AIRPORT
To meet the requirements of Dublin Aerospace’s growth strategy over the next few years, we are seeking to recruit a full-time Assistant Estimator. This role will be based onsite at Dublin Airport, Co. Dublin. The successful candidate will provide estimates for Base Maintenance activities and other business units as needed. They should be highly motivated with a technical or planning background.
Reporting to the Estimator, the key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing estimates based on customer-supplied work scope.
2. Preparing proposals for review.
3. Estimating additions/deletions to the contracted work scope as identified by the Planners.
4. Prioritising estimates to meet deadlines unless advised otherwise.
5. Maintaining and updating the MPD data.
6. Assisting in the day-to-day operations as required by the Estimator.
7. Weekly updates on the status of proposals.
8. Continuous updating of the RFQ register.
9. Occasional travel may be required.
10. Undertaking other duties as reasonably assigned by the company.
Knowledge / Key Skill Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge of technical data including MPD, AMM, SRM, SBs, ADs, SLs, CNs, etc.
* Aircraft maintenance experience and knowledge of Part 145 is desirable.
* Experience and knowledge of Base Maintenance functions and practices.
* Strong IT skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Methodical with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and flexible in approach.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
* Ability to pass a 5-year security background check.
* Permitted to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restrictions.
