SUMMARY OF ROLE: Join a high-growth Group as Group Sales Manager. Our Client is a market leader in its core material category, serving the construction sector from a Dublin 12 HQ with plants nationwide. Reporting to the Group MD, you will own national sales strategy and delivery, with clear progression at senior management level. The market is expandingincluding low-carbon/green solutionsso this is a genuine platform to scale revenue and margin. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Own the sales plan: strategy, targets, pricing, budgeting, forecasting and CRM pipeline. * Lead, coach and performance-manage four Sales Executives; set cadence and hold teams to account. * Partner with Operations/Marketing on go-to-market, campaigns and channel strategy to maximise margin. * Grow key accounts and tender wins; build senior relationships across contractors, consultants and distributors. * Use data to spot trends, track competitors and prioritise growth plays by region/product mix. * Uplift sales discipline: dashboards, KPIs, reporting rhythm and succession planning. * Report succinctly to the MD/Board with insights and actions. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * Track record leading a sales function with measurable revenue and margin growth. * Background in construction/building materials preferred; strong adjacent B2B (engineering products, industrial chemicals, manufacturing) also considered. * Commercially sharp; fluent with planning, budgeting, forecasting and CRM-driven pipeline management. * Confident leader and presenter; credible with senior stakeholders and customers. * Composed, decisive and self-directed; energises a high-performance culture. * Third-level qualification (any discipline). * Eligible to work in Ireland. RATE OF PAY: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus expenses and pension contributions. WORKING HOURS: 09:0017:30, Monday to Friday; flexibility required.
