Plant Manager (Construction) – Galway
Package:
* Salary up to €60,000 (DOE)

We are recruiting a Plant Manager for a leading main contractor based in Galway. This is a senior operational role responsible for managing all plant, fleet, and site logistics to support multiple live construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the Plant Department.
* Coordinate site mobilisation and demobilisation, including cranes, accommodation, telehandlers, and temporary facilities.
* Manage owned and hired plant to maximise utilisation and control costs.
* Oversee maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle planning of plant and equipment.
* Manage plant suppliers and subcontractors, including sourcing and rate negotiation.
* Manage company fleet, transport logistics, fuel cards, tolls, insurance, and compliance.
* Ensure compliance with RSA and all relevant transport and safety regulations.
* Support tender pricing for plant and logistics requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in plant, fleet, or equipment management within construction or civil engineering.
* Strong commercial and cost control skills.
* Good knowledge of plant equipment and construction logistics.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
