Job Description
The ideal candidate will join our technical team as a junior member and contribute to the development of key skills over a 2-year graduate program. Key responsibilities include managing engine fleets, liaising with customers, obtaining technical records, and providing assistance to other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Asset Management - The successful candidate will assist in monitoring assigned engines on lease, repair, or storage, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
* Liaise with customers, manufacturers, MRO facilities, aviation authorities, and external agencies regarding delivery, inspections, maintenance, warranty, shipping/storage, and other technical aspects of engine management.
* Project Management - Provide direct support to regional teams on lease deliveries/redeliveries, off-lease storage/transportation/maintenance, and assigned engine assets as required.
* Technical Records Management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date engine technical records packages to ensure full traceability, compliance with aviation authority requirements, and expected market standards.
* Maintain Technical Databases - Regularly update databases on various engine types utilized by the company, focusing on engine control systems, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and maintenance costs/intervals.
* Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Technical Manager and Executive Vice President Technical.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or Qualified Aircraft/Powerplant Engineer holding EASA/FAA Part 145 approval for medium to large commercial turbofan engines.
* Proficient in MS Office – Word and Excel.
