The company operates with a collaborative and open culture, placing strong emphasis on teamwork, technical expertise, and long-term relationships across the value chain.The Irish market represents a strategic area of developmentThe RoleWe are looking for a Sales Area Manager – Ireland with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and solid knowledge of the local market.The role is fully field-based and focused on business development through project opportunities, working within the triangle of designers, installers, and distributors.The Sales Area Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing opportunities from early project awareness through to commercial follow-up.Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across Ireland by leveraging personal network and market knowledge- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including designers, specifiers, installers, and distributors- Monitor the territory to identify upcoming projects and take ownership of opportunities from early specification stages- Support customers in selecting suitable products from the companys catalog (lighting solutions, accessories, etc.)- Collect and structure project information and transfer cases to Head Office for quotation and pricing- Act as the main commercial and technical point of contact during the sales process, ensuring continuous follow-up- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfactionCandidate Profile- Proven experience in a field sales or sales agent role, ideally within lighting, electrical products, or related sectors (e.g. cables, cable trays, sockets, switches...)- Strong understanding of project-based sales environments- Ability to independently generate and develop business opportunities- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Experience working in Ireland on behalf of a foreign manufacturer is considered a strong advantage- Entrepreneurial mindset, reliability, and long-term orientationWhats on Offer- Permanent employment contract/full time- High level of autonomy combined with strong support from Head Office- Collaborative, open, and team-oriented working environment
