Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.ProSource Group is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a prominent consultancy to join its growing multidisciplinary team, working on a diverse range of industrial projects across Ireland and Europe. From power generation to data centres, food & beverage to large-scale industrial facilities, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions. This position will be based in Dublin.The RoleLead or support projects as electrical lead or overall project lead, coordinating design activities and ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and design teams.Work closely with clients to define requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to the highest standard.Develop specifications, scope of works, tender documentation, cable calculations, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical deliverables.Undertake MV & LV electrical design (including MCCs, distribution boards, cable systems) using SKM and Amtech software.Participate in constructability and safety reviews.Conduct site visits to survey, monitor, and sign-off electrical installations.Design electrical service packages in AutoCAD and Revit, as required.Represent the business at senior level in client meetings, workshops, and tender negotiations.About YouDegree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred).8+ years’ experience in industrial engineering design and delivery.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.Familiarity with SKM (PTW), Trimble / Amtech design software preferred.Proficient in MS Word and Excel.In-depth understanding of CIBSE and Ashrae Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN & IEC Standards.Proven expertise in MV and LV power distribution, UPS, generators, earthing & bonding, lightning protection, and control system networking.Experience in developing protection systems, discrimination, short circuit studies, and arc-flash analysis.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement new technologies and value-engineered solutions.Excellent communication skills, with a professional, organised, and structured approach.What’s on OfferSalary: €85,000–€100,000 (negotiable based on experience).Health insurance and pension scheme post probation.Flexible working hours within a standard 37.5-hour week.Career progression opportunities with the chance to grow and develop within the department.Exposure to landmark industrial projects across Ireland and Europe.A collaborative, modern, and progressive workplace environment.How to ApplyTo find out more information, please contact Conor Lucey of ProSource Group at conor@psgroupltd.com or +353 86 4556208 for a confidential discussion or apply now.
