Senior Search Consultant at Connexus Recruit | Placing Top Sales & Marketing Talent in FMCG & Consumer Brands Across Ireland
Are you a natural relationship-builder with experience in the Off-Trade channel? We’re working with a premium FMCG brand builder that’s looking for a commercially minded Business Developer to join their Off-Trade sales team and grow their presence across Connacht.
This is a field-based role with a mix of account management and business development—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment and enjoys being out on the road, meeting store owners and retail decision-makers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Visiting an existing account base of retail customers across Grocery, Convenience, and Forecourt.
* Introducing new products and ensuring core ranges are well-represented in store.
* Negotiating for improved visibility, including secondary displays, promotional space, and cooler placements.
* Building strong relationships with retailers and store managers to drive long-term growth.
* Identifying opportunities to open new accounts and expand the customer base in the region.
* Executing brand activation plans and supporting seasonal campaigns with high-impact merchandising.
What You’ll Need
* Previous experience in FMCG field sales—ideally within the Off-Trade.
* Strong commercial awareness and an ability to spot growth opportunities.
* A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and excellent communication skills.
* Strong planning and organisational ability to manage your call file efficiently.
* A full, clean driver’s license and flexibility to travel across the region daily.
