Accounting Specialist Role
We are seeking a motivated accounting specialist to join our practice in Cork. The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting activities and a strong willingness to develop into a more senior role within the firm.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and audit files
* Support tax compliance and reporting initiatives
* Perform reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
* Liaise with clients and provide day-to-day accounting support
* Contribute to process improvements and team projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a practice environment preferred
* Strong technical and organisational skills
* A proactive attitude with ambition to progress into a senior position
