Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cloud Solutions Architect / Senior Cloud Engineer based in Dublin, Ireland, allowing for both on-site and remote work flexibility. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, consulting with clients to deliver tailored architectures, and integrating diverse technologies to meet client needs. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing innovative solutions, optimizing cloud services, and ensuring seamless business process alignment and technical implementation.
Qualifications
Cloud Architecture & Platform Engineering
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights).
Develop scalable solution architectures covering frontend, backend, databases, mobile apps, identity, APIs, analytics, and DevOps.
Build and maintain hybrid cloud integrations with enterprise systems and Azure resources.
Application & API Engineering
Oversee backend API development using .NET 8 Web API (C#) with RESTful standards.
Support frontend teams using
ASP.NET
Core Razor Pages, Blazor Server, and Bootstrap 5.
Guide mobile app integration using .NET MAUI.
Authentication, Identity & Security
Implement secure authentication using Azure AD B2C, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT tokens.
Ensure TLS 1.3, data encryption at rest/in transit, and compliance with GDPR/HIPAA-ready controls.
Conduct regular security reviews, patching, and hardening for cloud and application workloads.
Database & Reporting
Design and maintain SQL databases on SQL Server 2022 / Azure SQL Database.
Integrate Power BI Embedded and SSRS for analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
DevOps, CI/CD & Automation
Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Implement advanced logging and monitoring using Azure Application Insights and Serilog.
Communication & Integration
Integrate communication services such as SendGrid and Twilio for email/SMS workflows.
Develop and maintain secure API integrations with third-party systems.
