Job Overview
What is a New Business Sales Executive? This role is an account executive responsible for developing incremental revenue within the new business segment. The Executive manages territory coverage, demand generation, forecasting, closing, and partner/customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Proactively engage with customers and partners to understand their needs and position SAP solutions.
Plan and execute demand‑generation activities to support the territory plan.
Qualify leads and progress them through the sales cycle.
Collaborate with Partner Determination Matrix and key stakeholders to support partner selection, offers, and pricing.
Manage and close deals to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
Use the Digital Sales Motion to engage customers and partners effectively.
Work with Presales, Solution Sales, Industry Experts, Channel Partners, and other stakeholders on deal execution.
Maintain accurate CRM data for pipeline management and customer intelligence.
Develop deep solution and process knowledge in designated areas and improve sales skills as per the SAP Sales Career progression framework.
Requirements
Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in a new business sales or field‑sales environment.
Minimum 1‑2 years as a quota carrier (mandatory).
Experience in multi‑channel go‑to‑market models.
Knowledge of the ERP market is beneficial.
