The Role
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will play an important role in the day‑to‑day running of the store, supporting strong commercial performance, efficient operations, and a motivated team.
For those earlier in their management journey, the Trainee Manager position provides hands‑on exposure to all aspects of store operations while developing the skills needed to progress into senior retail leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day‑to‑day running of the store to ensure smooth operations
Drive store performance and support the delivery of sales, productivity, and KPI targets
Lead by example on the shop floor to deliver an excellent customer experience
Support stock management, merchandising, and store presentation standards
Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Assist in managing operational processes, compliance, and health & safety standards
Support cost control and operational efficiency
Coach, support, and motivate team members to maximise performance
Take ownership of personal development and engage in training opportunities
Candidate Profile
