Salary: €75,000 – €95,000 DOE + Full Benefits Package
Overview
A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major healthcare project in Wexford Town. This is a high-profile, complex build offering strong exposure to large-scale project delivery within the healthcare sector and clear opportunities for career progression.
The role will suit a commercially strong QS who is confident managing project costs, subcontractor accounts, and supporting the successful financial delivery of a live construction project.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of project cost control and reporting
Oversee subcontractor procurement, accounts, and payments
Prepare valuations, variations, and change control documentation
Support commercial forecasting and monthly reporting cycles
Assist with claims preparation and contractual administration
Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial alignment
Monitor budgets, costs, and project financial performance
Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures
Liaise with client and supply chain on commercial matters
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale building projects
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex project experience desirable
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
