INFORM3 RECRUITMENT Junior – Senior Civils Engineer – Job Location: Cork
INFORM3 are currently recruiting Civil Engineer at all levels for an established civil engineering contractor to join their team on a major urban transport infrastructure scheme in Cork City.
These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to large-scale public realm and roadway improvement works within a dynamic city environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of civil works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate daily site engineering activities.
Interpret and implement design drawings and technical specifications.
Manage subcontractors and liaise with site supervisors and foremen.
Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations.
Monitor progress against programme and report to Project/Contracts Management.
Assist with planning, scheduling and sequencing of works.
Maintain accurate site records, including RFIs, measurements and as-built documentation.
Support quality control processes, inspections and handovers.
Civil Engineers Specification:
1+ years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally within infrastructure or roadworks.
Strong setting out and surveying experience.
Good understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proven ability to manage site engineering teams.
Strong technical knowledge of road construction, utilities and public realm works.
Experience in programme management and reporting.
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (experience with project planning software advantageous).
Full driving licence.
