Our client is looking for a Junior Legal Secretary to join their small but busy practice. This role offers great exposure to legal documentation, client correspondence, diary management and general secretarial duties in a supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, format, and proofread letters, documents and correspondence under supervisionManage and maintain both electronic and paper legal files (filing, scanning, archiving)Manage diaries, schedule appointments / court dates / meetingsHandle telephone calls, take messages, and liaise with clients/third parties where appropriateAssist with digital dictation / transcriptionGeneral office duties: photocopying, scanning, mail handlingKey Requirements6‑12 months' experience working in a legal office, preferably in conveyancing .Good typing and transcription skills (audio/dictation typing if used).Ability to manage both electronic and physical client files (file opening, closing, archiving).Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).Experience using (or willingness to learn) a case or file management system.Ability to prioritise, work under supervision but also show initiative.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
