Financial Operations Expert
Our organization seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional to play a key role in our day-to-day financial operations. This position offers the opportunity to drive efficiency, build client relationships, and ensure accuracy in our financial processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Preparing year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
* Reconciling balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
* Applying solid knowledge of accounting principles to post journals onto accounting software accurately.
* Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
* Preparing statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with deadlines, checklists, and procedural requirements.
* Supporting year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end journals.
* Assisting in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
* Liaising with clients over the phone and through written correspondence.
* Providing assistance to managers on special client projects and assignments.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant qualification.
* Minimum of 2+ years of general accounting practice experience.
* Results-driven with strong technical abilities and financial acumen.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer care.
* Highly organized with excellent planning abilities.
* Proficient in both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
* Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
