The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department at our Killarney office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who combines strong visual skills with a passion for branding, digital content, and storytelling.
This role is fully on-site in Killarney, Co.
Kerry, on a fixed-term contract basis, and the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Aran Sweater Market and Weavers of Ireland across digital, print, retail, and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Create visually engaging email newsletters and website banners to drive customer engagement and sales
Update and edit website imagery in alignment with brand guidelines and marketing strategies
Design engaging digital assets for website, email campaigns, paid advertising, and social media
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop cohesive, impactful campaigns
Develop creative concepts that align with the Aran Sweater Market brand identity
Maintain a working knowledge of Shopify or BigCommerce to support website updates
Act as the brand custodian, ensuring all creative outputs align with established brand guidelines
Edit and retouch photography for online and print use
Assist with video content, motion graphics, and creative storytelling where required
Support Aran Sweater Market and Weavers of Ireland stores with marketing materials, signage, and point-of-sale displays
Handle multiple projects in a high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional quality and meeting deadlines
Stay ahead of design trends and platform-specific best practices to keep creative assets fresh and innovative
Requirements
Degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
2+ years' experience in a graphic design role
Strong portfolio showcasing digital and print design work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience designing for social media, email marketing, and eCommerce platforms
Familiarity with Shopify or BigCommerce is desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent visual communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Photography, video editing, or motion graphics experience is an advantage
