Job Description
DePuy Synthes, a company of Johnson & Johnson, is the largest, most comprehensive orthopedic and neurological business in the world. We offer a broad range of technology, devices, services, and programs in joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, sports medicine, neurological, cranio-maxillofacial, power tools, and biomaterials. We are recruiting a Senior Process Engineer in Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Support manufacturing operations with engineering expertise, focusing on safety, quality, supply, and cost.
* Lead process stability initiatives including VCP and CIP projects.
* Collaborate across functions, including NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, suppliers, and sister sites.
* Design and develop tools, fixtures, gauges, and special equipment.
* Develop and maintain manufacturing specifications.
* Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment standards.
* Manage validation, quality actions, and process improvements.
* Support supply chain operations, root cause analysis, and project management.
* Manage budgets, lead cost reductions, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead and develop engineering team, fostering a culture based on Credo & Behavioral Standards.
* Work with leadership to develop strategic engineering goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or Science with 5+ years experience.
* Proven project leadership skills, ability to deliver on time and budget.
* Strong decision-making, technical understanding, and problem-solving skills.
