Job Summary
A leading role in financial management is available, requiring a qualified accountant with excellent staff management experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing departments outside of finance and be able to lead HQ financial management, supported by a full-time Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Oversight: Lead HQ financial management, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Corporate Governance: Partner with senior leaders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and adherence to best practices.
• Technology Projects: Oversee and deliver IT initiatives across head office and local communities, coordinating with the IT Manager.
• Legal Affairs: Manage legal matters in coordination with the Legal Adviser, ensuring data protection and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
A qualified accountant, ideally practice trained, with successful staff management experience and prior experience of managing departments outside of finance. A curious, interested, and diplomatic person is essential for success in this role.
