An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our F&B team. We are seeking mature and experienced F&B Assistants who will be a valued members of our team.
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a central role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests in our Ferrybank Lounge, Pottery Resturant & Event spaces. Your attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our events.

* Previous experience working as an F&B Assistant essential in a 4 star plus hotel or fine dining.

The Role
* Delivery of amazing service and consistently high standards at all times.
* Greet and welcome guests on arrival in a friendly manner.
* Anticipating and addressing guests' needs.

* Set up and prepare dining areas for weddings and events, having knowledge of table settings, dinner service running order.
* Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
* Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
* Work closely with the Managers and Team Leaders to understand the specific requirements and timeline of each event.
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and synchronized food service
* Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining tables throughout service, using trays (when appropriate) to serve and clear guest's glassware, cutlery and crockery.
* Clear empty plates, glasses, and utensils promptly, efficiently and courteously.
* Address guest/colleague concerns/queries promptly and professionally.
* Professional and Polite attitude towards guests & employee's alike.
* Assists in the preparations of beverages, both hot and cold
* Ensures cash handling procedures are thorough and secure
* Maintains a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
* Ability to show initiative and work independently.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed
* Micros Experience would be preferable.
