Staff Process Optimisation Engineer - 23 Month Fixed Term Contract Position Summary
Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization and deliver complex assignments. This role requires a strong understanding of Process Optimisation best practices, test strategy, and Ops integration.
This engineer manages multiple significant engineering projects through project management office (PMO). The job involves providing technical leadership from an engineering perspective. It also involves continuously improving the performance of processes by applying process optimisation techniques.
The key areas of responsibility include managing multiple significant engineering projects through PMO. The job holder provides technical leadership from an engineering perspective. They also work on providing support to process development / advanced operations on technology development and application within manufacturing processes.
They engage in implementing lean manufacture within manufacturing environments while interfacing with materials science, design and quality assurance departments to provide customers with quality products in a timely manner. Validation activities are critical components that they have to perform regularly.
• Master's degree or Ph.D.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
A proven track record as a Senior Project Manager is required for this position. Management skills should be demonstrated across various stakeholders including team members working together towards common objectives; rather than individuals performing tasks independently without any external influences acting upon them.
