Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Mental Health Specialist to join our practice. As an Associate Psychotherapist, you will work with children and young people, providing evidence-informed interventions and conducting risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive risk and suitability assessments for clients
* Implement effective risk management plans to ensure client safety
* Provide individualized, strengths-based, and goal-focused interventions
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of practice
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients and families
* Attend clinical supervision sessions to maintain professional development
Requirements:
* A recognized Level 8 degree in Psychology or equivalent psychology conversion course
* Evidence of training in at least one therapeutic modality
* Postgraduate training in counseling and psychotherapy is desirable
* Full accreditation as a Psychotherapist with a reputable professional body
* Experience working with children and young people (essential)
* Knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to working with children and young people (essential)
* Ability to reflect on practice and facilitate personal learning and professional growth
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
