This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading employer in the motor sector based in Limerick. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for presenting a friendly and professional face to customers and providing efficient administrative support to other departments.
The Role
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Answering telephone calls and booking in customers for services
* Maintaining a daily diary
* Welcoming customers to the showroom and checking their details on arrival
* Documenting customers' car problems and passing information to mechanics
* Consulting with mechanics about repairs
* Answering questions about service outcomes (after consulting with the mechanic if necessary)
* Consulting with customers and mechanics to schedule car check-ups and service appointments
* Giving customers an approximate cost and time it will take for repairs to be completed
* Invoicing service charge and receiving payment
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous Reception/Service/Aftersales experience
* Prior experience in the motor industry would be advantageous
* Initiative-taking professionalism with excellent customer service skills
* Excellent administration skills
* Collaboration skills
* Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
