Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Stock Control Administrator to join our team at Placeme Recruitment. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Process all orders on the warehouse management system accurately and efficiently.
* Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to achieve maximum productivity and minimize errors.
* Ensure that all administration functions are followed, customer needs are met, and relevant documentation is completed in accordance with SOPs.
* Identify potential problems and develop solutions quickly and effectively.
* Verify that goods outwards and relevant paperwork meet business operations and regulatory requirements.
* Complete KPIs to monitor business operations and ensure compliance.
* Maintain awareness of current Health and Safety legislation and local procedures.
* Liaise with customers as required, adhering to business operations.
* Support the warehouse management team in identifying areas of risk and implementing corrective actions.
* Evaluate and implement new SOPs, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure accurate and timely filing of all documentation.
* Perform additional duties as advised and directed by senior managers.
* Assist the stock/administration team during absences due to sick leave or annual leave.
Qualification:
* Experience with warehouse management systems (INDEX, SAP, or equivalent), scanning systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) is preferred but not required.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
* Assertive communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
* Proven success in building relationships within cross-functional teams.
* A highly motivated individual with the ability to work collaboratively with managers at all levels.
