Location: Lucena Clinic, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services Initial Base: Rathgar, Dublin 6 Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for young people presenting with moderate to severe mental health disorders, to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow.
Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
Locum Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Lucena Clinic, Rathgar Team A (Locum (6 months), Full-Time) Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with St John of God Community Mental Health Services, Lucena Clinic on a Locum Full-Time basis.
Minimum Requirements
1. Full registration in the General Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered.
2. Must be on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry or entitled to be on it within a six month period.
3. The possession of the MRCPsych or a qualification equivalent to one of these and
(i) inclusion of the divisions of Psychiatry of the Register of Medical specialists maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland, or
(ii) seven year's satisfactory post-graduate training and experience in the medical profession including five years in psychiatry of which three years were in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Remuneration Salary Grade 'Consultant Contract **** - Clinical' on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €231,215 - €277,736 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Lucena Clinic, Rathgar .
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
