We are now hiring 4 Maintenance Technicians (Permanent roles) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath.
These are days shift positions, covering Monday to Wednesday shift or Thursday to Saturday shift (from 7am to 7pm).
Profile:
Hands-on engineer with the ability to maximize machine reliability and throughput while supporting new projects.
A self-starter with initiative to drive the team forward in a cooperative yet assertive manner.
Ability to synthesize information from various sources and analyze and decide on a course of action.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Maximize the efficiency of engineering personnel and equipment.
* Directly responsible for acting on machines to ensure that yield and cycle time targets are met.
* Execute job cards and ensure sufficient close out of the jobs.
* Ensure preventive maintenance system is maintained and work completed in time.
* Liaise with Production supervisor on resolution of technical issues.
* Responsible for installation and setup of tooling and camera systems. Monitoring and ensuring daily adherence to standard operating conditions and validated parameters on all equipment in production.
* Assist Quality, Engineering, and Project teams with new materials, systems, projects, or trials in production, including scoping, defining, and implementing mechanical and electrical modifications.
* Assist in development and training of other technicians, machine setters, and operators.
* Manage booking out spares.
* Ensure safe work practices are always followed—support H&S representative.
* Ensure close out of 'see cards'.
* Adhere to LOTO procedures.
* Follow GMP requirements.
* Maintain excellence in housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
* Close out CAPAs, deviations, and memos.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve performance.
* Perform additional tasks as required by the Engineering Manager.
* Possess craft/trade fault-finding electrician or mechanical certification.
* Experience in GMP, pharma, or packaging environments.
