Our client is a leading design & build firm in Cork, going through a period of high growth having won a number of new public & private sector projects. They are looking to hire a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyorwith cost management skills to work across all project stages including pre-contract cost planning and bills of quantities production, and post-contract interim recommendations and variation account valuation and agreement, with involvement in technical due diligence on proposed developments. Role Requirements: Degree Qualified BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or appropriate conversion course Preferrable Chartered but if working towards same (not essential) Knowledge of ARM5 and preparation of BOQs to ARM. Minimum 7 years experience & previous experience in a consulting or contracting environment, providing/undertaking Cost Management and Project monitoring services is desirable. Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills and report writing knowledge essential.
