Saint John of God Liffey Services invites applications for the post of Senior Occupational Therapist. This is a permanent full-time position currently based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare.
Senior Occupational Therapist
Permanent – 0.77 WTE

The successful candidate must:
1. Have a recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
2. Full CORU registration or CORU application under process (commencement in the role will be subject to successful registration with CORU).
3. Have a minimum of three years’ post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist and experience of working with adults with intellectual disability.
4. Have keen interest in management of seating and posture difficulties and management of sensory processing disorder in adults.
5. Have keen interest in working with older adults and in the area of dementia.
6. Demonstrate ability to work within a Multi-disciplinary team providing services to adults with complex needs.
7. Demonstrate excellent initiative, flexibility, communication, and organizational skills.
8. Demonstrate ability to provide clinical supervision and support others' development.
9. Have a full clean driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
Desirable:
1. Membership of AOTI.
2. Training in management of Sensory processing disorder.
3. Training in management of Complex seating and Posture difficulties.
4. Experience in the area of Dementia and family/staff training.
