Ayrton Group have a requirement for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor working with our client, a leading building technologies and energy solutions company. This position will involve visiting various pharmaceutical sites within the Cork region.This is an initial 6 month contract role with the possibility of extension. A company vehicle will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards.Assist in the maintenance of the company legal register.Review and implement Health & Safety management procedures.Review and implement client Health & Safety standards & procedures.Review and implement Construction Health and Safety Plans.Arrange, prepare, and carry out site inductions.Update and maintain all records associated with the Health & Safety management system.Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.Review and comment on Subcontractor's RAMS.Provide monthly HSQE report.Arrange, co-ordinate, and minute site Health and Safety meetings and capture action plans.Support the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, maintaining proper records and complying with and reporting to relevant bodies.Key Qualifications:Recognised qualification in Health and Safety, or similar.1+ year experience within the Health & Safety construction industry.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
